We offer an expedited registration service for PoAs that need to be processed urgently. If an EPOAR submission is to be expedited, you must complete the full process including paying the fee before requesting the PoA is considered for expedited processing. All requests for expedited processing, to be emailed to OPG@scotcourts.gov.uk along with the reason why the case should be prioritised, working days. After an update of the EPOAR website, there is an issue with information being obscured by the black bar at the bottom of the page. In order to correct this; log on to EPOAR then press Ctrl + F5 on your keyboard. This will refresh your web browser's cache. After this, you should be able to scroll down and see the full information. (You should only need to do this once per machine/web browser)

Staff within OPG have access to Experian, a credit search facility that can supply other useful information. We reserve the right to carry out an Experian check on guardians and/or the adult throughout the lifetime of a financial guardianship order, any adverse findings may be reported to the Sheriff. Credit ratings are not affected by this search, and further information can be found on the FAQ section of this website
