OPG is consulting on a change in how errors and discrepancies in PoA submissions are handled to improve the efficiency and accuracy of PoA registrations. Given the increasing volume of PoA submissions and the associated administrative burden caused by errors and discrepancies in the names of the granter or attorney, we are proposing to reject and return PoAs with identified errors, rather than contacting the sender for clarification.
