'Please wait...' error opening documents

You may receive the error message below when trying to open a PDF. If you receive this message, you will need to download the document and open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. 

Workaround guidance

To download one of our documents please:

  1. Right click on the document and select 'Save link as'
  2. To ensure the document opens in the Adobe software, start Adobe Acrobat Reader DC then select File > Open and navigate to your downloaded document.

    (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC software can be downloaded if you don’t have it.).
