How to renew a Pre-AWI Act Guardianship appointment
If you were appointed before April 2002 as a Pre AWI Act guardian (a curator, tutor dative or tutor at law) and if powers are still required you must renew your appointment before 5 October 2009 under the terms of the AWI Act. Your renewal may be by summary application. You may also be able to apply by minute although this is less clear. You may however use the expedited renewal process.
