Our target is to process powers of attorney (PoA) within 30 working days of receiving the document. This week we are working on:
- Electronic (EPOAR) submissions: received on 5 July 2019, 35 working days waiting period
- Postal submissions: received around 2 July 2019, 38 working days waiting period
We offer an expedited registration service for PoAs that are to be processed urgently. You can request this service by completing our form and emailing it to OPG@scotcourts.gov.uk
If an EPOAR submission is to be expedited, you must complete the full process including paying the fee before requesting the PoA is considered for expedited processing.
You should receive a response advising whether the request is granted or refused. If your request is granted the case will be processed within 5 working days.
